Reports On Housing was started in 2004 as a way to communicate what buyers, sellers and real estate professionals were experiencing in the trenches, tracking demand, inventory, distressed homes and market data at both the county and city levels. Steven Thomas, a California Real Estate Broker with decades of real estate experience and a degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, developed Reports On Housing and is considered an expert in real estate housing trends.

Most economic housing reports analyze and discuss closed sales data, a look at the market through the rearview mirror. Closed sales are a reflection of pending sales that are put together 30 to 60-days prior to the closing. Reports on Housing’s report is a close look at supply and demand, the current listing inventory, current pending sale activity, and the expected market time for homes placed onto the market today. It is more of a current real estate market dashboard than a look in the rearview mirror.

FAQ & SAMPLE REPORTS
When you sign up for one of our subscriptions, you will receive an introductory email with the latest report at our earliest convenience (note: if you sign up over the weekend, you will receive your first report the following Monday). Each report comes out every other week, for a total of 26 reports each year. Each report comes with a wealth of knowledge at your disposal: a detailed report conveying the current market trends, numerous charts and data points, and a number of links located at the bottom of each report allowing you to customize and utilize the report to it’s full potential.
No contract or commitment unless you sign up with the yearly subscription. Monthly subscriptions can cancel anytime. Yearly subscriptions may be canceled at any time; however, because it is offered at a discounted rate, you will not receive a prorated refund unless with valid reason.

Unfortunately, we do not offer bundle pricing for our reports. Each report is $15/month or $150/annually, meaning if you bought two monthly subscriptions from us, it would cost you $30 per month. Still a bargain!
When posting to your website or personal social media platforms, we ask that you use the excerpt link, located at the bottom of each report. See example below. In addition, you may post information from the summary page of the report. Any other content in our reports is not permitted to be posted online because it waters down the need for a paid subscription. As always, you are welcome to have interested parties contact you personally for the full report.
Absolutely. You are welcome to distribute the report to your client base as long as your distribution lists do not include (intentionally) other agents, brokers, lenders, real estate professionals, etc. If you think another agent is violating this policy, we kindly ask that you notify us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
